All CASH Business!
"All cash" means many things. . . and different things to different people. Primarily, it means:
- No collection problems or expenses (bad checks, uncollectible accounts, costs of billing and collection, etc.). This is a HUGE advantage.
- Financial privacy. . . to whatever degree you choose.
The financial privacy issue is controversial if you extend it to the point of not reporting income to tax collection agencies.
While I do not necessarily ADVISE anyone to pocket their vending cash profits. . . not reporting it on tax returns. . . it is a simple fact of life that most vending operators do not claim either part, or all of their income from vending machines. Many people consider this unethical. . . and many others consider this a big advantage of the vending business. You decide.
This is an all cash business, so what you report is a personal decision you will have to make based upon your own personal belief system. . . your views regarding the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of our government and it's tax laws. . . your personal assessment as to the risks of getting caught. . . and the consequences if caught.
